Stampede to Read Class

Our most popular community class available! Practice reading and speaking skills with animals by your side! Read out loud to a dog or cat and watch them close their eyes to paint the picture of your story in their minds! Held as a group session or individual session. Children, adults, and those with intellectual or developmental disabilities welcome! Whether your child needs to catch up on appropriate grade level reading after covid school closures, you don't know how to read, or even if you just enjoy reading and would like to do it with an animal in an inclusive and friendly environment, this activity is just what you have been looking for to improve on reading and speaking skills. Sometimes we are able to have our senior members of the community go around to help children learn how to pronounce words as our "tutors" and heave them engage with the youth and teaching them valuable lessons. This program is a win for the reader, the pet, and the senior members of our community.

Group Class Information

Class size: between 3 to 20 participants, ages 4+

Time: meets for 1 hour, once a week, for 4 to 8 weeks

Cost: $100 for 4 weeks, $180 for 8 weeks

Private Reading Sessions

Open to any age 3-100!

Sessions start at $75/hr + travel fee if applicable
